ALL MONTH! So far I haven't been able to draw at all. No sketches, no illustrations, no works whatsoever. It is a combination of factors. Focusing on applying to jobs and family obligations. However while I'm doing these things, I am still failing to take the time to draw, instead allowing myself to stoop into an effectively depressive state and doom scrolling on my couch. My couch isn't meant for doom scrolling! Just another example of how truly freeing discipline can be. Something I need to work on it seems.

However, fear not my friends! I have enough time to do some sketches and to work on some pieces that I have an idea for to be able to release a work this month! Just may have to change which idea I want to go with so that I can finish it before the time is up.

After February I think I'm going to change how I post sketchbook pages. I've been sketching a lot more frequently than I anticipated so I think after this month's post, I will start posting pages as I finish them to here and my social medias, then at the end of the month Patrons get a post of high resolution versions, plus any bonus pages I make.

So I’ve been working on the next illustration release, which is the remake of the first release I made called TLC (it stands for Tentacle Love and Care). It has been interesting to balance work and pleasure. Right now I have no patrons, so this is strictly pleasure. I’m also in the process of applying to jobs, which has been endlessly frustrating. It has made me realize that I need to greatly improve the efficiency of my creative process, especially since I will hopefully be attaining a “real job” very soon, which will eat into my time. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that I need to make a schedule for my own sanity, something I have historically been incapable of. So here we go.

I want to post one work every month, one that has a lot of effort and rendering put into it. Along with this work, Patrons will get a bonus work that is tied to it. Whether it is additional illustrations or a short comic to add context will depend on what I feel like doing. For instance, the TLC remake will come with an additional illustration. However I also want to post other works, with a less strict basis, and will also push my artistic skills even more. These ones will be freely accessible or available at the Observer tier at most since I will be pushing myself on these the quality will likely suffer. This persona exists because it will allow me to practice and post my art. So I need to figure that out.

There are also some features I need to work on for this persona. For instance, my Patreon tiers don’t have thumbnails yet. I should do something about that. I’d also like to create a vtuber/rantsona puppet for producing videos with. This will take a while as there are other things that need to be done in order to further disguise my identity before I can start making videos. Mainly disguising my voice. I am trying to separate my real life self from this persona as much as possible. So before I’m comfortable with making those, I need to solve the privacy issues. I also need to nail down my rules for commissions. Another aspect to my work is my desire to make more wholesome adult content, and due to that there are several things I would be uncomfortable creating.

In addition to artwork, I also wish to practice my narrative writing skills. This is a pretty common practice, even to this day, for authors to write under a false identity to write erotica and smut. It was a good opportunity for them to practice and make some money on the side while they work on their safe-for-work stories. I’m essentially doing the same thing. I need much more practice writing compared to your average author, but for whatever reason I’m obsessed with the concept of documenting and releasing the work and process that goes into learning skills. I think I will start writing some smut at the end of this month, just as an exercise and hopefully post it along side the work for the month after. We’ll see.

I’m starting to ramble, so let me bring it back to some concrete goals I have for this month.

• Finish TLC and it’s additional illustration for the main release
• Release an additional short form comic that I came up with while working on TLC
• Create the thumbnails for my membership tiers
• Make the rules
• Start writing some smut

Of course the day the Patreon is approved I am accosted by some form of illness that somehow combines upper-respiratory infection with stomach bug symptoms, delaying my work and posts. However the benefit of being forced to sit by myself in the facilities as I struggle to conquer my own biology has allowed me time to meditate on what I want for the future of this avatar I have created for myself. And I would like to delve into that, and why I’ve decided to pursue this in the first place.

I have many passions. The common characteristic of said passions is that they all ultimately center around some form of creativity. I would like to get better at these, but unfortunately they are varied and can be difficult enough to build skill in, let alone while trying to build skill in other areas. I also personally struggle with finding the motivation to practice. However I have found that something else will always make me motivated, sex. Sex and sexual expression is another subject I am both fascinated and passionate about. Include sex in something and it’ll have my full attention. Sex also sells, and unfortunately for me, exploring and learning about my passions will cost money, so I need to fund it in some way. So I’ve have decided to create a persona to sell NSFW content so I can also justify the time spent learning by allowing the learning to fund itself.

Another reason why I wish to explore NSFW content is because there is a lack of what I’m personally interested in out there. What really peaks my arousal mostly are the wonderful emotions and connections that are formed during sex that truly make it a magical experience for me. Now when I say this, I am no prude. My proclivities for sex are much like my proclivities for hobbies, vast and often counter intuitive. Some are things I really want to do, but lack the knowledge or skill to execute them. This avatar will give me the opportunity to explore, share, and learn with a certain modicum of privacy.

So with this being my first major blog post, I will now list the next steps I will be taking on this account.

• Creating an avatar for videos. These videos will be used to discuss quick topics and maybe discuss the themes of my work I’m hoping come across. The YouTube channel will primarily be for announcements. The Patreon will be for deeper, detailed conversations.
• Some basic character design for a comic strip idea that I had. One obviously revolving around sex and sexual relationships with a touch of brevity, but still includes all the sordid details on full display. At least for patrons.
• I will be posting my first attempt of an illustration. I had started it early last year, then abandoned it. Picked it back up again, and I realized that my process has changed so fundamentally that I simply cannot finish rendering it. However I still want to share, because my next illustration will be a remake of this one. Sometimes art needs to be abandoned.
• Finalize the rules for requests and commissions. Will pin said rules on all of my social media.
• Personally I need to come up with a schedule so I can work on all of these in a timely manner. Likely an hour a day spent on making content, and maybe another hour simply practicing.

And finally here is a comprehensive list of the content you can expect from me.

• Illustrations/Pin-ups

My specialty is 2D digital art. I especially love pin-ups. I would like to make pin-ups.

Not every art piece will be a pin-up though.

Some will be illustrations as well, typically depicting a scene rather than just an individual.

Some will feature fanart.

Prints of both will hopefully be available soon.

• Comic Strip

A short form comic strip with simple illustration and rendering.

Something along the lines of DoctorLoops. Just more bisexuality.

Recurring characters with personalities and character writing.

Maybe even arcs?

• Highly Rendered Single-Story Comics

Mostly one off comics depicting a scene of some kind. These ones will be far more detailed and rendered.

Recurring characters on occasion.

Some will feature fanfiction for sure.

• 3D Animation

I love making animations!

However I do not have the patience for 2D animation, but I do have a lot of experience with 3D animation.

I will be exploring this, just not very frequently.

I will not be making my own models. I will be using ones that are available, either for free or for purchase.

Lots of these will be GIFs.

• Erotica/Smut

Written works with longer stories, maybe even chapters will be classified under erotica.

I’ve always wanted to write. I have no experience writing fiction. Would like to give it a shot.

Smut is short form, and mostly for practice writing detailed sex scenes.

These will be posted very infrequently.

• Video Games

I used to want to be a game designer.

Then I heard about the work environment.

I also discovered my lack of patience for coding.

Recently I’ve taken it back up again using tools like RPG Maker and Renpy.

But I’d like to learn a more all encompassing engine, like GODOT.

These games will be short and simple, visual novels, short RPGs, point and click, maybe a 2D action platformer.

These will be the least frequent.
